Welcome to Hilltop Events! The story of how Hilltop Event began goes all the way back to when I was a little girl. I grew up in small-town Montana. My family owned Hilltop Angus Ranch. The ranch was founded by my great-grandfather in 1914. Because we lived in the country, playtime or hobbies for me were crafting, creating artwork, re-arranging the décor in my bedroom, and hosting tea-parties. In addition, I loved to design holiday table-settings using ribbon, candles and anything I could find in my mother’s sewing cabinet. At the age of 7, I could correctly set a formal dining table.

When I went to college at Montana State, I had no idea event planning careers existed. However, I soon got involved in many organizations which led me to find my passion. I planned sorority socials, worked on campus organizing large lecture series, volunteered for causes like Relay for Life and took on the logistics of MSU Homecoming. After that, I gained eight years of experience in the event industry by designing and planning events at Yellowstone Club and for the MSU Alumni Foundation. Events have ranged from small custom designed dinners to large-scale 1,000 person black-tie affairs to 3-day weekend conferences. After planning my own wedding, I wanted more from the industry. Above all, I wanted to provide brides with an incredible experience. Marriage is such a special moment in life, and the planning process should be enjoyable!
